Well, things have been kinda busy here for The Fat Bloke, so here is a general round up of what's been going on...
Charlie got run over by a car on Wednesday morning. She's ok, just bruises and scrapes really (maybe a little hurt pride) but she was very lucky the car was only travelling at 20mph, it could have been so much worse.
She crossed the road from behind a bus (not be best of ideas) and was in a panic because the school keep on saying she is late even though she gets to school 5 minutes early.
What did she learn? Pedestrians and cars on a road do not mix.
Went and saw mom yesterday, she seems to be doing well which is nice. She's alittle frustrated that she cannot do a lot of things like she used to, but after a major operation that is no big surprise, although I know how she feels as I felt the same after my heart operation when I was 18.
I bought the movie Scar and I watched the 3D version...and I think it was kinda ok (certainly a movie that you switch your brain off to) but I think it lacked depth. It's another DVD for the collection though...
I'm off for dinner tonight with Cuddle Bunny, nothing special as such, just some pasta or a pizza in Ask, but it's all good. It's been great catching up with her, I have missed her oh so much over the 10 years we had not spoke.
Well, that's all for now...I will try and update things a bit more regular though!
Saire decided to blog one day after deciding that he should air his views on this and that when he was looking after his sister, not many people read it but he doesn't care. Saire's interests include Marmite, Transformers, movies and music...and complaining about buses. Saire lives in Yam Towers with his flatmate Haunted Rock Cake, and has a pet rock called Rocky.

Hurrah good news!
Well, it's about bloody time....
I got a text from mom earlier saying that all was well and she will not be staying in. This is great news as I was so worried that there would be EVEN MORE complications. Maybe now mom will be able to settle into a half-decent routine again, although it will take time of course. I hope also that I maybe be able to get a decent night's sleep now, as last night I had barely any sleep worrying mom may have had problems.
In other news, I ordered the 3DVD (Hey, it's stuff about DVDs...there's a surprise!) "The Twisted And Disturbed Life Of Kane", which is a set of DVDs chronicling the history of WWF/WWE wrestler Kane. I think he's really cool, alongside his "brother" Undertaker. I also like TNA's Abyss, although the DVD about him was not that good really in my opinion, I hope they do a better version soon.

Good news at last!
Well, it has finally happened...
Mom is coming home (although I do worry about the weather, with all the snow and stuff I wonder if Ken is going to be ok driving about...he may be a good driver but even good drivers have accidents.) and it means I can go home....
Can you guess what I have missed the most all the time I have been at moms?
My bed!
Yes, as daft as it may sound, the thing I miss the most currently is my own best, which is kinda odd for me...you see, usually I can sleep anywhere (well grab a respectable 4-5 hours anyways when I am tired) but while I have been here I have been lucky to get 3 hours. Maybe it is the situation in general that is keeping me awake at night, wondering if everything is going to work out ok, is the family ok in general, is Gypsy (mom's dog) ok are all the bills done right and so on as wellas thinking about all my bills I needed to pay out too (and yesterday's incident with the DWP was not much of a help add ing to the stress!).
All I know is I feel like I'm gonna sleep for a week when I get home, so if there are no entries for a while you now know why!

Mom update...and other stuff.
Mom has been in hospital for a while. She was diagnosed with lung cancer shortly before Christmas and to say it turns things upside down would be a little bit of an understatement. She has 1/3 of her lung removed a few weeks ago and due to complications has gone back in...the complication being district nurses not knowing thier job. They reckon she should be out in a few days though, which is kinda nice. I really miss mom, she really means the World to me, but the main thing is while she is in hospital she should be ok, she is in a safe place.
I bought some more DVDs for my collection this weekend just gone...
I bought some more DVDs for my collection this weekend just gone...
- Kung Fu Season 2 - I love this series, and now I have the full set! Got it for £6 in my local CEX store, which is cool.
- ECW: Extreme Rules - I like watching wrestling (I really wish I could get cable in my area, but the cable company said they were putting it in in April...they said that in 2006!) and as I do not get to watch it that much on TV I have quite a few DVDs to fuel my addiction! Usually costs £20, I got this for £8.
- Paddington Bear: The Complete Original Series - I love cult childrens TV...if you look at my collection (head on over to http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/Yamerias to have a look at my 900+ strong collection) among the horror, wrestling and extreme sports DVDs you will find a lot of animation and cult kids TV classics! Paddington is brilliant, and so I picked up this boxset, which has 5 DVDs housed in a case shaped like Paddington's suitcase!
