A day of coolness...

Today has been a really good day so far.

I have been pottering around in the garden and I think in one of Haunted Rock Cake's plant pots we could have the starting of a bumble bee nest. This is great news really, as they seem to be dwindling, so anything to help them. I'll be keeping an eye on this and there will be more as it develops.

The post today was REALLY awesome! I got 2 parcels today, one from my friend Steff in Germany which contained postcards for my collection, a DVD and an amazing I Am Legend beanie hat! Then I got a piece of artwork by the supremely talented Adam Atherton!

I humbly thank for this dude, it is an amzing piece and I'll be getting a frame for this and hanging it up as soon as I can! Just in case you have not been following my blog (and if not why not?) Adam Atherton is the creator of the brilliant webcomic Lilly Of The Valley (there is a few pages of this if you go to http://www.zudacomics.com/node/1237) which will continue around September time. The image is of Lilly and is just amazing as you can see!

So yeah...it's been a really good day, and I cannot see anything ruining my day!

Back home...

Well, I have been back home since last night, and I'm not really sleeping too well despite the fact I actually have my own bed again! I guess it's judt the way it goes really...

I decided to while a little bit of my time away taking photos of my beanie hats and then uploading them into an album for Facebook...yeah I know, that is really sad, but I just wanted a visual reference of my collection, and it seemed as good a place as any to do this. I also bought a few more DVDs for my collection:

• Hairspray (the 2007 remake) - I love musicals (yeah say what you want, I don't care) and loved the original movie, and seeing John Travolta dressed like that is very strange!
• Slap Shot - If you like ice hockey you will love this movie! An ice hockey team are going down the drain, when they bring brawling into the mix and they do better than ever!
• Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes - I do like my cult movies! People are being ataacked by...well...killer tomatoes...does exactly what it says on the tin really!
• Robot Chicken Season 1 - This is one of the oddest shows ever, and to be honest there is no way to describe this...
