Who is that Fat Bloke?

It's back!!!

When I was a small lad in the dim and distant past, there was one toy I wanted more than anything else...I wanted it more than all the Transformers, wanted it more than my Speak & Spell, my Major Morgan...anything.

What I wanted more than anything else...was Bigtrak.

Bigtrak, for those who are unware, was a tank like thing that you could program to go to places and you could also but an triler for it so it could carry things around and dump them around! Here is a commercial from the UK for the original:

Pretty cool huh?  I would have given my eye teeth for this toy as a kid, but I never ever got one *cue violins*

Last year I was looking into buying an original Bigtrak, but it was going to cost loads of money, so I gave up hope of ever getting one of these toys.

But maybe all is not lost....

I was looking on Facebook the other day, and a commercial saying that Bigtrak was coming back caught my eye!  I mentioned this on Twitter and gave a link to the Wikipaedia page for Bigtrack and this evening I was given the link to this video:

This is great too...BigtrakJr is smaller than his original counterpart, but is not any less awesome!

BigtrakJr is to be released in the UK Summer 2010 and has a RRP of 29.99

Check out Shmax.com!

As you may be aware, I have been collecting Transformers toys for a few months now and I have amassed quite a collection (over 70 in less than 12 weeks!) and I was searching through a few fan websites when I stumbled across what in my opinion is one of the coolest sites for information on Transformers.

Shmax.com is a great database of all Transformers items that have been released to date from around the World, listed by people who have collected them.  there are images of the item (if available), listings of what comes with it, when it was released, what territory it comes from and much more, and there is a forum where you can discuss Transformers with fellow members.  They do have the odd valuation of some of the Transformers stuff there too.

If you like Transformers, collect them, want to see what models and toys are available around the World, then head over to Shmax.com, you will find all the information you could ever want!

Oh, and if you want to check out my collection the then CLICK HERE and let me know what you think of my humble collection!

Ultimate Trumps: Countries of the World pack

You may recall I mentioned a few months back that Ultimate Trumps were releasing their on Trumps style cards games.

This first pack has been released, and it is called Countries of the World.

This is a 32 card game, played just like other Trumps games, where you try and beat another player by having better stats on a card.

This is a great fun game, and has great educational value, helping kids learn about places around the World.  Games will last roughly 10-20 minutes per session.

The price is £4.00 and for collectors there is a superb sheet available to for just £30.00!
Buy Ultimate Trumps direct from Ultimate Top Trumps Shop and if you want a preview of the pack then look HERE
